odtools:od_createmeshlight

OD Create Mesh Light converts the selected geometry into a primitive mesh light:

Options:

  • Light Samples: Defines number of samples the light will use
  • Light Visible to Camera: Defines whether the lights source is seen in the render
  • Sample Objects Surface: Will only use luminous surfaces of the object rather than the entire object
  • Normalize: Whether the light is normalized or not.
  • Hide Source Object: If you want the light to be seen, you typically want to hide the original object
